Connect with IAR Youth

Registration windows, schedule changes, and new programs are announced here first.

Time-sensitive changes (cancellations, venue moves) go out on the WhatsApp broadcast — the join link is in every newsletter.

Get involved

Volunteer with youth programs

Programs are volunteer-run. Fill out the interest form and we'll match you to a role — weekly program help, coaching, or one-off events.

Ways to help

For parents: how we keep youth safe

Two-adult ruleNo adult is ever alone with a minor. Every program room, vehicle, and trip has at least two screened adults present.
Background checksEvery volunteer working with youth passes a background check before their first session, renewed every two years.
Sign-in & pickupElementary and middle schoolers are signed in and out by a named adult. High schoolers may self-release with a parent form on file.
Something wrong?Concerns go to the program manager and, independently, to IAR leadership. Both routes are listed on The Team tab.

Every program has a named lead

One program manager coordinates the calendar and volunteers, and each program has a named lead. Contact a lead directly, or start with the program manager.

The Youth Fund

Support youth programs.

Program fees don't cover full costs. Donations keep fees low, fund fee scholarships for families that need them, and pay for equipment, food, and volunteer screening.
